• How do I apply for admission?

If you are not yet ready to visit the school, please begin by completing our short enquiry form — Click here. An Admissions manager will then contact you for a brief consultation.

After the consultation or campus tour — once placement options and availability have been discussed — the Admissions manager will send you the Application Form and explain the next steps of the enrolment process in detail.

• What documents and information are required for registration?

When completing the Application Form, you will be asked to provide basic information about the child and family, including the child’s full name, date of birth and nationality, parents’ contact details, previous school (if applicable), home languages, as well as information about allergies, medical requirements, or special educational needs.

To complete the enrolment process, the following documents are required:

• a copy of the student’s passport
• a recent photograph
• copies of parents’ passports
• a completed online Application Form

If transferring from another school, a recent school report or academic transcript is also required. For transfers within Thailand, a Student Status Certificate may be requested.
Scanned copies of documents can be submitted by email. Original documents may be provided later at a convenient time.

• How does the enrolment process work, step by step?

Admission to our school follows a clear, step-by-step process designed to ensure your family feels confident at every stage.

Step 1 — Submit an enquiry or book a tour

An Admissions manager will then contact you for a brief consultation to learn more about your child and check availability in the appropriate age group.
If you are already in Phuket, booking a tour is the easiest way to meet the team and see the campus in person.

Step 2 — Application Form
After the consultation, you will receive the Application Form to complete and upload the required documents.

Step 3 — Offer Letter
Once the application has been reviewed, you will receive an Offer Letter confirming a place for your child.
The Offer Letter package includes:

• Education Service Offer
• School Handbook
• School Fee Information
• Enrolment Form

These documents outline the terms of enrolment, school policies, and full details of the offer.

Step 4 — Enrolment Form and payment
To accept the offer, the Enrolment Form must be completed. You will then receive an invoice for the Registration Fee and Tuition Fee, based on your selected payment plan (monthly, per term, or annually).

Step 5 — Onboarding
After the place is confirmed and payment is received, you will be provided with all the information needed to begin school, including:

• confirmed start date
• class timetable
• school uniform and textbooks
• school bus registration (if required)

The entire admission process can be completed either in person or remotely, depending on your location.

• When does registration for the next academic year open?

Registration for the next academic year typically opens in February. Until enrolment officially opens, we continue to accept applications for the current academic year.
Applications for the next academic year can be submitted once the official enrolment period begins.

• How soon will we receive confirmation after submitting an application?

You will usually receive a response from the Admissions team within 1–2 working days after submitting your application.

• What is the next step after submitting the application?

After your Application Form has been submitted, our Admissions team will review the information and prepare an Offer Letter confirming a place for your child and class placement. The Offer Letter package includes the Education Service Offer, School Handbook, fee information, and the Enrolment Form.

By completing the Enrolment Form, you formally accept the offer and agree to the terms outlined in the accompanying documents.

Once the Enrolment Form has been submitted, you will receive an invoice for the Registration Fee and Tuition Fee according to your chosen payment plan (monthly, per term, or annually).

After payment has been received, the Admissions team will contact you to:

• arrange any required assessments
• confirm the start date
• provide the class timetable
• prepare the school uniform and textbooks
• assist with school bus registration, if required

• Can documents be submitted by email?

Yes, you may initially submit scanned copies of the required documents by email. Original documents may be requested later for verification.

• What medical documents are required?

We ask parents to provide any important medical information, such as allergies, regular medication, or specific medical requirements. This allows our medical team to ensure appropriate care and support for your child during the school day.

• What documents are required when transferring from another school?

If a student is transferring from another school, the following documents are required:

• the most recent school report or academic transcript
• a Student Status Certificate (for transfers within Thailand)

• If the family has not yet relocated, how can we get information about the school?

If you are still abroad, our Admissions team can fully support you online. We can arrange a virtual consultation, explain document requirements, and answer all your questions before your arrival.

• Can we apply in the middle of the academic year?

Yes, we offer year-round admissions. If there is availability in the appropriate class, your child may join at any time during the academic year. An Admissions manager will guide you through the placement and enrolment process.

• Can we enrol for just one term or a short period?

Yes, short-term enrolment is possible, subject to availability. The minimum enrolment period is two weeks.
For short-term enrolment, a registration fee of 5,000 THB applies. Please note that textbooks and insurance are not included in this fee. To check availability, please contact our Admissions team.

• Is there an application fee or deposit?

No application fee is charged, however, several mandatory payments apply when enrolling in the school. The exact fees depend on the programme, year group, and whether the child is a new student.

1. Assessment Fee — 1,800 THB
A one-time, non-refundable fee charged to all new students at the application stage.
This fee covers assessment in core subjects and administrative processing.

2. Registration Fee
An annual, non-refundable fee required to confirm enrolment.
The Registration Fee includes the school uniform, learning materials, most textbooks, and student insurance.

For Lower Secondary (Years 7–9), the Registration Fee is 18,180 THB per year.

If a student enters the Cambridge Programme via ELL, an additional ELL Registration Add-on of 1,800 THB applies, in accordance with school policy.

3. Tuition Fee
Tuition must be paid before the student starts attending school.
Available payment options include:

• monthly payments;
• termly payments (5% discount);
• annual payment (10% discount).

Tuition fees vary depending on the selected programme (Cambridge Lower Secondary or ELL).

4. Reservation Fee — 20,000 THB
Applies only to students starting in August, at the beginning of the academic year.
The full amount is deducted from the first tuition invoice.
If a student joins in the middle of the academic year, the Reservation Fee does not apply.

• Is the reservation for the next academic year refundable if we cancel enrolment?

No. The Reservation Fee is non-refundable, as it is used to secure and hold a place for your child.

• What should we do if we need to postpone the start date?

If you need to postpone your child’s start date, please inform the Admissions team in advance.
Tuition fees are charged from the enrolment start date, not from the first day of actual attendance.
If you are not yet ready to begin, we recommend submitting your application closer to your preferred start date to avoid early fee charges.

• How is my child’s class determined?

Class placement is based on your child’s age, previous school background, and English level.

Year group is determined by age to ensure your child learns among peers of a similar developmental stage.
After reviewing school records, our team decides which programme suits best:

• Children who are native English speakers or have studied in an international or English-medium school (confirmed by school records) usually join the Cambridge Primary class directly.

• Children who are non-native speakers or have not studied in English before begin with the ELL (English Language Learning) Programme to build confidence and language skills before moving into the main Cambridge class.

• If my child is between 11 and 14 years old, which class will they join?Children aged 11–14 join our Cambridge Lower Secondary programme, which includes Year 7 to Year 9.

Placement is based on the child’s age as of 31 August in the year of entry.
During the school year, students in each class are usually within the following age range:

Year 7: 11–12 years old
Year 8: 12–13 years old
Year 9: 13–14 years old

This ensures students learn alongside peers at a similar developmental and social stage.
Academic level and language background are also reviewed to determine whether the student will begin in Cambridge or in the ELL pathway before transitioning into the main curriculum.

• How does placement work if my child previously studied in a different system (American, Thai, etc.)?

For Nursery and Kindergarten, placement is primarily age-based, ensuring the child joins a group appropriate to their developmental stage.

If your child has attended another early years programme (for example, American, Thai, Russian, or French), our team takes their previous experience, daily routine, and readiness for learning in an English-speaking environment into account.

The transition into our system is gentle and child-centred. We focus on a smooth and comfortable adaptation to our programme, daily routines, and classroom expectations. Teachers and assistants provide individual support during the adaptation period so that each child feels calm, confident, and comfortable in their new group.

• Can a child move to a higher class if they are academically advanced?

We understand that every child learns differently, but our placement follows the Cambridge Primary framework, which is carefully structured for children aged 11 to 14.

We place students by age to support both academic and social-emotional growth.

• Does every child take an assessment before starting school?

Yes, all new Primary students complete a short in-person assessment.

It’s not an entrance exam and doesn’t affect class placement — your child’s year group is decided by age and school background before the assessment.

The assessment simply helps our teachers understand your child’s English level and learning needs to provide the right support from the start.

• When does learning begin and what are the first steps after enrolment?

Learning begins in line with the school’s academic calendar. The exact start date is confirmed by the Admissions manager once enrolment has been approved.

In most cases, if a place is available, enrolment can be completed immediately after the required documents are submitted and payment is made. After enrolment, our team assists with arranging the school uniform, registering for the school bus if needed, and providing textbooks, the class timetable, and the daily schedule.

All essential information is shared before the first day of school. We support families at every stage to ensure everything is ready for a smooth start.

• When will we receive the class timetable?

The class timetable and daily schedule are provided after the child has been officially enrolled and placed in a class.

• When can we receive the school uniform, textbooks, and register for the school bus?

Once the enrolment process is completed, you will be able to receive the school uniform and textbooks and register for the school bus.
Our team will support you at every stage to ensure everything is ready for your child’s first day of school.

• Is my child required to take an assessment before starting school if joining at the beginning or in the middle of the academic year?

Yes. All new students are required to complete an assessment before starting school, regardless of whether they join at the beginning or in the middle of the academic year.

• How does the assessment work and how long does it take?

For Lower Secondary, we conduct a short baseline assessment in English and mathematics to understand your child’s current level and identify any support they may need.

In English, we look at reading comprehension, writing skills, and the ability to follow and respond to questions.
In mathematics, the tasks are based on the Lower Secondary curriculum and focus on core concepts appropriate for the student’s age.

For students who may still be developing confidence in English, the emphasis is placed on understanding instructions, communicating clearly, and engaging with the tasks, rather than perfect accuracy.

A brief interview also allows teachers to see how your child listens, interacts, and adapts in an English-speaking classroom environment.

• Can the assessment be completed online?

No. Assessments cannot be completed online. All assessments are conducted in person after the family arrives at the school.
Before arrival, preliminary class placement is based on previous school records and information provided by parents.

• Can parents be present during the assessment?

Parents are welcome to bring their child to school; however, the assessment itself is conducted without parents present and is carried out by teachers only.
This allows us to observe how the child communicates and learns in a natural classroom environment.

• What level of English is required for admission, and what if my child does not speak English yet?

There is no minimum English level required for admission. We accept students with any level of English proficiency.

If a child is not yet ready to study fully in English, they may initially join the ELL (English Language Learning) programme. ELL supports the development of essential language skills and prepares students for a smooth transition into the main Cambridge class.

• How can we prepare for the assessment?

No special preparation is required. We recommend ensuring your child has a good night’s sleep, a light breakfast, and a calm start to the day.

You may gently explain what to expect, for example:

• “This is not an exam, just a chance to get to know the school.”
• “The teachers want to see what you can do — you don’t need to do everything perfectly.”
• “You’ll be shown simple tasks, like in a regular classroom.”
• “If you don’t know something, that’s okay — just say so.”

It’s important for children to know that:

• they are not being judged or compared;
• they can ask questions;
• they can ask for instructions to be repeated;
• making mistakes is a normal part of learning.

Our team has extensive experience working with children and always aims to create a friendly, supportive environment where each child can feel at ease and be themselves.

• What happens if my child shows a low result in the assessment, and does the assessment affect class placement?

The assessment is not a pass/fail test. Its purpose is not to judge performance, but to understand what level of support your child may need.

If the results highlight areas for development, we will recommend the most suitable learning pathway. In some cases, this may include starting with the ELL programme to allow the child to progress at a comfortable pace.

Class placement is based on age and overall readiness, with assessment results used to ensure appropriate support rather than to restrict placement.

• When will we receive the assessment results?

Assessment results are usually shared within 1–2 days after the assessment.
The Admissions team will contact you to provide feedback and discuss the next steps.

• When and how can we book an assessment?

After the required documents have been submitted and the admissions process has progressed, our Admissions team will contact you to arrange a suitable assessment date.
All assessments are conducted in person on campus in Phuket.

• Is there a fee for the assessment?

Yes. A one-time, non-refundable Assessment Fee of 1,800 THB applies.

• What is the cost of the tuition fees for Lower Secondary?

Our Lower Secondary programme includes two pathways:
Cambridge Lower Secondary (Years 7–9) and the ELL Programme for students who need English support before joining the full Cambridge curriculum.

• Is half-day attendance available and how much does it cost?

You may begin with a shortened day for as long as your child needs. We fully support an individual and gradual adaptation process.

A gradual increase in daily attendance is a normal and healthy part of early years adjustment. However, tuition in Nursery and Kindergarten is calculated for a full school day (8:00–15:00) and does not offer a reduced fee or separate pricing for half-day attendance.

• What fees apply for short-term enrolment?

Short-term enrolment is available for a minimum period of two weeks and is subject to separate conditions:

• a registration fee of 5,000 THB (textbooks and insurance are not included);
• tuition is calculated on a weekly basis according to the current Primary School rates.

Students enrolled on a short-term basis attend the same lessons and follow the same timetable as other children.

• Is there a registration / enrolment fee?

Yes. All Lower Secondary students (Year 7–9) pay a Registration Fee of 18,180 THB.

This fee includes:
• School uniforms
• Teaching materials
• Most books
• Student insurance

The Registration Fee is non-refundable and is paid once per academic year.

If a student is joining the ELL Programme, an additional ELL Programme Fee of 1,800 THB is added at the time of registration.

A separate Assessment Fee of 1,800 THB is also required for all new students.

• Is a deposit / reservation fee required to secure a place?

Yes — if your child is joining at the beginning of the academic year (August), a 20,000 THB Reservation Fee is required to secure the place. This amount is fully deducted from the first tuition invoice.

For students starting mid-year, no reservation fee is required. Instead, enrolment is confirmed once the Registration Fee and the first tuition payment (monthly, termly, or annual — depending on your chosen plan) have been made.

• Are discounts available for term or annual payments?

Yes, discounts are available:

• a 5% discount applies to term payments;
• a 10% discount applies to annual payments.

Monthly payment is also available at 16,440 THB.

• Are sibling discounts available?

Yes. A 5% discount is applied to tuition fees for the second and each subsequent child.
This sibling discount can be combined with term or annual payment discounts.

At ISP, the primary method of payment is bank transfer.

After enrolment is confirmed, the Finance Department will issue an invoice detailing:

• the total amount due
• the payment deadline
• bank details and the SWIFT code for international transfers

If you need to discuss alternative payment methods, you may contact the Admissions team or the Finance Department directly.

• How are invoices issued and how often are payments made?

For continuing students:
Tuition invoices are usually issued between the 20th and 22nd of each month. Payment is expected within 5 working days from the invoice date.
For new students (joining at the beginning or during the academic year):
All required payments — the registration fee, the reservation fee (if applicable), and the first tuition payment — must be completed before the child starts attending school.

• What happens if a payment is delayed?

Monthly tuition invoices are issued between the 20th and 22nd of each month. Families are given time to complete payment until the 1st of the following month.
After this date, a late payment fee of 200 THB per day will be applied.
